Levi - 17" Reborn Baby Dolls Angelic Sleeping Newborn Boy with Moist and Soft Baby Lips

My daughter saved for money for over a month for this doll and she is so happy with him. He looks SO real. Very soft. Definitely worth the money.

So far, I have purchased 3 reborn dolls from Vacos, in hopes of finding my daughter one she loves for Birthday, without spending hundreds of dollars.
My personal review, it is possible & has a good, realistic look! If you dont have a picky girl, this would be a great doll. ??
My daughter's review (6 years old), she doesnt like that she has a pouty face & she didnt feel heavy like a real baby. She decided to pick another one over this one.

Adorable doll! Worth every penny, looks just like the photos. Looks like a real baby!

Doll Specs

Weight: rather lighter than I expected for a Reborn Doll. About 2.2 lbs? Not that I was well-researched on them; I had just heard they were SO realistic.

Appearance: very realistic to the eye; adorable

Size: seems smaller than a newborn, more like a preemie. 1 - 3 months onesie fit well but even smaller might have been a little better. I think she is 19 inches long but legs are all tucked up making her shorter.

Conclusion: I would like a slightly bigger doll with more weight to it; but she is lovely and reminds me of a child I will never have.

Look, I'm not a baby doll person. Or, I wasn't... Despite being raised in the patriarchy, as a kid I preferred plushies, big sister type dolls and figurines (they were all burned or trashed by my mother at some point ?? those darn graven images (ahh, to be a child growing up in a dysfunctional ex-catholic family exploring patriarchal fundamentalism ??). And we loved books. My sister and I did play "house", but we didn't play "Mommas and babies". I think we played "Mom" and "Dad" or some kind of parents and she always wanted to be the "Dad", but sometimes I wanted to be the "Dad", too. We had older "kids" than babies (played by our friends or imaginary or bigger cloth dolls--but no Barbie) and we made forts, saw horse horsies, mud pies and pretend soups (free range millennials ?? at least in the backyard). I've always liked kids but been terrified of breaking them or being a bad influence. I've babysat and raised some like my own. Well, enter my 30s, and all of a sudden, I want a baby. Nah... a whole child or two to raise and significant partner. Having a baby would be a nice dream, but that is neither here nor there with my finances and this economy. I would choose adoption and prefer it (as the world is overpopulated and I'd shudder to bring any new life into this horrible world no matter how loud my stupid clock ticks) but the same reasons not to adopt also apply. So I am changing careers to become a teacher. Like everyone in my family. And I'm a damn good one, but it took me this long to see I could even try... But that's what growing up in the patriarchy does to you (I began to be liberated in my 20s). Your parents hide your own worth by claiming all you, as a woman, are supposed to do, are capable of doing or wants in this life is to birth a large family of children for a stiff, demanding man who may have a great job but never pitches in at home or with his children, verbally and/or physically abuses them, tells her what to do and treats them all like property. You can possibly work from home, but only in the way your husband, church clique and pastors approve. A lot of people enjoy the kind of work that goes with homesteading, but that's beside the point. When you are meek, unloved, overworked and schooling 6+ parentified children maybe you don't enjoy canning or sewing so much. It didn't happen to me because I got out of the cult, but I saw it happening. Caring for children IS one of THE MOST most important jobs on this planet, but there are ALREADY so many young ones in need existing. The job doesn't just belong to one sex or gender and when possible, parenthood should be a CHOICE. An option. A superpower? But there's all kinds of other things in the world to do, too. It took me years to see that for myself due to internalized misogyny. I always loved other women, rather taking it out on myself but then I realized WHY I loved them. Because we are strong! And wise. Not weak and dumb. And that they weren't all choosing a live of mute submission and servitude; many had it forced on them. And one or two actually had a decent partnership and enjoyed their simple life. I just wanted to be part of a team of equals and friends who were passionate about each other and our goals.

This little baby doll is a nice little make-believe to hug or read stories to at the end of the day. I never wanted a baby doll before 37 ??
