This guy is super heavy! I didn't notice when I ordered it that he weighs ! Believe it or not, that's pretty heavy for me to carry never mind a child. I don't know many little ones who could hold him for long. He is very well made however, he comes fully clothed and ready for use. I think he is great for a doll collector like myself. If you do happen to get this for a child just remember back to those flour sack babies we made in high school this guy us double the weight. He's gonna need a child who is old enough to carry him around like at least a seven-year-old and up. I just know what would have been ok for me as a id and that us probably how old I would have been in order to hold him and play any length of time. Also, he is anatomically correct. If purchasing for a girl make sure you are aware of that and ready to explain if you haven't already about different parts. Just a heads up.
